The following is a list of farms that offer genuine Southern Maryland Meat products.

You can also check here for a listing of other places (i.e. stores, butcher shops, etc.) that carry SMM products.

SMM members agree to use *standardized definitions to describe their raising or finishing processes. And many farms dry age their meats for maximum quality and flavor. *Federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones in poultry, hogs, veal calves or exotic, non-amenable species.

Farm Production System: Naturally raised on pasture until a year old, then corn and alfalfa hay are added to the ration until cattle are finished (approximately 60 to 90 days). No soy products are used in feed. Free access to choice mineral, fresh water and pasture at all times. Using rotational grazing, cattle are moved monthly to fresh pasture which decreases parasite activity to promote growth and health. Humanely treated. Antibiotics only used when medically necessary, no growth hormones or growth implants, no animal by-products in feed.
Aging: Meat is dry-aged for 14 - 21 days.
